Maria Minea

Maria Minea is owner and Spa Director at Face Focus, the European Medical Spa of Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Much more than an aesthetician, the woman whose expertise and passion for well-being inspired Face Focus, is truly a visionary.

What makes her treatments and products unique is her intuitive, innate ability to combine natural, healing remedies from yesterday with the most advanced technologies of today.

Raised in a country acclaimed for its beauty and wellness treatments, the Romanian-born Maria Minea inherited the knowledge of a host of natural remedies and a gift of touch, leading to degrees in beauty and skincare earned abroad and in the United States.

Maria has gained over 25 years of experience in the field of cosmetology in Europe as well as in major local NY spas, such as Georgette Klinger and Mario Badescu. Her vision of creating a boutique-size medical spa in a beautiful, relaxing environment, in which customized, serious skin care for each client will take priority, was finally brought to reality 6 years ago with the inception of Face Focus.

Raluca Minea

Raluca Minea has been owner and manager of Face Focus of Englewood, NJ for the past 6 years since its inception. Previously, she has worked in Broadcasting Journalism as a segment producer for CNN Money. Having been passionate about the medical esthetic field, she has decided to open this business along with her mother, Maria Minea, a well-reputed esthetician with over 25 years of experience in Europe and the US.

Raluca earned a degree in Journalism and Psychology from Rutgers University and her articles on spa management and the latest trends in the beauty industry have been published in various trade publications including Day Spa Magazine and Bergen Health and Life.
